Frequently asked questions

Plan for about 45 minutes to an hour if you already know the city. Pick 8 to 12 spots on the map, write a task or question for each, and add a couple of photo challenges. Most organizers do it in one evening on the couch.

Yes, as long as you keep the route inside one neighborhood or a walkable centre, roughly 3 to 4 kilometers in total. Put a bar or café at every third or fourth stop so the slower half catches up. Splitting into two teams of seven also keeps things moving.

You write every task yourself, so the first half of the route can be quizzes and photo tasks while the evening section gets the dares. You can also build two separate hunts: one for the family lunch, one for the group after 7 pm.

Players open the hunt on their own phone; they don't need to build anything themselves. One person per team is enough to follow the route. The GPS unlocks each stop when the team actually gets there, so nobody can skip ahead to the last bar.

Edit the hunt from your phone on the day itself. Swap a stop, drop a task or move the finish indoors in a few minutes. It's a good idea to check opening hours of any venues the Friday before, especially on public holidays.

Points are tracked per team as they answer questions and complete tasks. You can set bonus points for photo dares and decide yourself whether the bride judges them at the end. A results overview at the finish spot makes for a natural handover to dinner.
